Aqua Kyara is a car rental company based in Chatan, Okinawa. The goal of the project was to design custom staff T-shirts that go beyond the typical corporate uniform. Taking inspiration by Okinawa’s cultural mix, landmarks, and the island as a travel destination. The designs are intended to spark curiosity about the island and create a memorable first impression when customers pick up their rental car.

Inspired by a traditional airport flight board, the T-shirt highlights Okinawa as the destination and “The World” as the origin, emphasizing Okinawa's status as a first class travel destination. The front of the T-shirt shows the company's logo.

Inspired by the Okinawan word champuru, meaning "mixed", this collage represents the unique blend of Okinawan traditional heritage and American influence that defines Okinawa. The Okinawan heritage is represented by Shuri Castle while the American influence shown with American Village in Chatan.
Instead of the standard logo on the front, we designed a classic Okinawa inspired license plate featuring the company name, Aqua Kyara, paired with iconic symbols of Okinawa, including a traditional Shisa and the Famous Route 58 highway sign.
